Creek Kids Children’s Ministry
Creek Kids is for kids 1st – 6th grades, and runs concurrent with our adult services in the sanctuary. This time is geared specifically toward the interests and needs of kids. Come and experience one of our energy-packed worship services on Sunday mornings at either 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM.
Each month, Pastor Jay introduces a topic that the kids can really get into and understand. Whether it is facing your fears or seeing life through someone else’s eyes, the lessons always include an aspect of the world around us. Join us in Room 202 for a time of games, worship, biblical learning, and of course FUN! Kids experience the Bible with our staff of background checked volunteers.
Jungle Jam is for children ages 3 years through kindergarten, and it runs concurrent with our adult services on Sunday mornings. Jungle Jam is specifically targeted to reach kids of preschool and lower elementary ages. Our background checked teachers teach the kids that Jesus will always be there for them. The children have been learning about numerous topics using a curriculum that features a different animal each week. The curriculum gives information about the animal that helps the children apply the Bible lesson to their lives. Join our Jungle Jam in the jungle-themed room upstairs in Room 201 at either 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings. Kids will be entertained and lessons will be learned from our excellent staff of workers.
Stepping Stone Nursery
In order to provide the safest environment for your kids while in our care, we follow a secure check-in process. Check-in begins fifteen minutes before service. After service, we aim to have every child back with his or her parents within fifteen minutes.
When you bring your child, they will receive a numbered name tag, which will be applied to their shirts and diaper bags. You will receive a tag with matching numbers and at that time your child will be transitioned from your care to the care of the nursery staff. In order to pick up your kids from their classrooms, you must have these security tags and pick them up at the drop-off/pick-up window. This is to ensure that no one picks them up without your permission. In the event that your child needs the comfort of mommy or daddy during service, you will receive a text at the number you have provided.
If you wish to see your child after check-in, please see the Nursery Coordinator for instructions.
All of our volunteers go through a screening process and background check.
Nursery Wellness Policy
For the protection of all our kids, we follow the standard school/childcare wellness policy and ask that any child exhibiting the following symptoms be kept from attendance:
- Fever (in the last 24 hrs)
- Vomiting or diarrhea (in the last 24 hrs)
- Contagious infections
- Pink eye
- Lice or nits
Age appropriate snacks will be served during the service. Snacks are dairy and peanut free, as well as low in sugar. If your child has a specific allergy, please notify the staff at check-in.
Apple of His Eye Pre-School
Apple of His Eye provides education of the highest quality in tune with the children’s age and development needs. It offers a loving Christian environment in which children are enabled to develop physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. The children learn that they are the “Apple of His Eye,” Psalm 17:8. Through this nurturing environment families can be assured of quality care while their child is entrusted to responsible individuals outside parental supervision. Services are available to every child, regardless of race or national origin. Apple of His Eye is a place where children are encouraged to be children.
Throughout the year there are many activities that are focused toward our children at fc3. The best way to get involved is to contact Pastor Jay in the Church Office.
Every year, we go to camp for a few days in the summer. At camp, the kids hear the teachings of leading children’s evangelists, play games, and experience bonding with other children that are best experienced in a camp atmosphere. Join us in June for our annual kids camps.
We have Vacation Bible School, water day, group field trips, and plenty more planned for throughout the year. Whether Creek Kids are celebrating a holiday with our entire community, or just having fun because that is what we are all about, be sure to join us.
Our Royal Rangers program is geared specifically for boys starting in kindergarten through the teenage years. We have an experienced group of adults that enable the boys to learn many lessons about God and the outdoors.
The Royal Rangers of fc3 (known as outpost 77) meet every Wednesday night at 6:45 PM. This group begins each weekly meeting with the pledge of allegiance and roll call. After roll call the boys are split up into different groups according to their age. They are then taught lessons geared specifically to real-life applications from the Bible. The boys love coming to Royal Rangers because of the atmosphere of mutual learning that they will encounter here. Whether they are learning First Aid or preparing for an upcoming camping trip, they experience God in a way specific to boys. Boys under the age for kindergarten attend a Rainbows class.
Girls Ministries offer the girls of our community an opportunity to be mentored by a group of leaders that desire to see them grow in Christ. They offer an action-packed schedule that never displeases.
fc3’s Girls Ministries are geared for the family on the go. While adults join the senior pastor, or a guest speaker, for Wednesday night Bible study, the girls meet with a dynamic group of leaders that wish to help them in their journey. The Girls Ministries program is set up to cater to girls of many ages. Both boys and girls up to kindergarten share together in Rainbows classes, but from kindergarten on it is a girls only area. Girls Ministries happens on Wednesday nights at 6:45 PM.
